Early Life of Tanush Kotian

Tanush Kotian was born on October 16, 1998, in Mumbai. His father, Karunakar Madhav Kotian, a former cricketer and coach, played a pivotal role in nurturing Tanush’s early interest in cricket. Currently his father is working as a senior Assistant at United India Insurance. His mother Mallika Kotian is a Homemaker. From a young age, Tanush accompanied his father to cricket ground, where he developed a passion for the sport. Under his father’s mentorship, Tanush honed his cricketing skills, particularly as a right-handed batsman and right arm off-break bowler. His talent became evident during his tenure with the Mumbai Under-14 and Under-16 teams, where he delivered commendable performances. He completed his early schooling from class 1 to 7 at St. Joseph High School in Vikhroli and continued from Class 8 to 10 at V N Sule Guruji English Medium High School in Dadar. For higher secondary he attended Ramniranjan Jhunjhunwala college in Ghatkopar, Mumbai.
